See if you can get to the Island of Run. Well and truly off the beaten track but was once of massive international commercial importance as it was covered in nutmeg trees. As I recall it was ultimately part of the haggling between the English and the Dutch, and the Dutch ended up keeping it whilst the English got New Amsterdam (York). Smirk, that showed the low Germans!!
Travel by freighter from NZ to Australia, then after touring around for a bit, by sea to Singapore. From there, trains and buses through south-east Asia into China. Taking the Tran-Mongolian railway from Beijing to Moscow. Trains and buses through eastern, central, and western Europe and then a boat or the chunnel to England. This plan may change if I feel like it (especially since I might go to India). Keep reading the blog!
Very wise advice from spike91nz on blog 23 May, strongly advise you follow that advice!!
